Dhanushkodi, a town in Tamil Nadu in India, was destroyed by a cyclone on December 22 1963. Now, it is known as the ghost town. It was the main travel destination of India and Srilanka. People still see it as a graveyard bearing the monuments of ancient glory. After the cyclone, the ruined Shiva temple, the Roman Catholic Church, the Customs Office, the Post Office, a stupa erected in 1933, remains as a witness to the tragedy in the past.
