Kollimala is a scenic hill station located in the Eastern Ghats, at an elevation of 1300 m above sea level. It is 65 km from Namakkal to Kollimalai. Buses are available from Salem and Namakkal to Kollimalai. From the valley known as Karavalli, one can reach Kollimalai at the end of a captivating drive through the 71 hairpin route. Kollimalai is an ideal destination for adventure sports such as hiking and trekking. Kollimalai is also a good farm. Pepper and coffee are the main crops. Akash Ganga Falls, Arappalishyara Temple, Kollippavai Amman Temple and Murugan Temple. Other attractions include the Seekupara and Salernad viewpoints, Masila Falls, Swamipranavanda Ashram, Botanical Garden and Children’s Park.
