Indian Roller [Coracius bengalensis] is a member of the Roller family of birds. They are usually found in grasslands and forest habitats, confined to trees and wires along the roadside. Many states in India have adopted it as their state bird. They are found throughout tropical Asia, from Iraq to the eastern subcontinent and the Indochina.
