By Mannavanur, is a farming village of 1437 households in Mannavanor Panchayat, Dindigul district, Tamil Nadu, India, 35 kilometres west from Kodaikanal It is 7 kilometres by road from Kumbur village and 9 kilometres from Kilanavayal village. Altitude is 1,880 metres. This area is bestowed with rich avian fauna. Many birds can be seen flying freely. It is also said that few of wild animals can be also be spotted once in awhile here. The place is also known for its 165 species of butterflies, 15 types of dabchicks, Bison, sambar, barking deer, Nilgiri langur, Nilgiri tahr and jungle cats are sighted here.
