Kochi Metro Rail is a high speed train service from Ernakulam city in Kerala, India. It is manufactured by D, M, R, C. On June 17, 2017, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi inaugurated the Cochin Metro. Kochi Metro Rail Limited is a joint venture between the State Government and the Union Ministry of Urban Development. The Kochi Metro has 22 stations at a distance of 25.6 km from Aluva to Pettah in Tripunithura.
