St. Catherine is the first chapel built in old Goa during the Portuguese occupation period. Sant Catarina is the Latin Rite RC cathedral of the Archdiocese of Daman in goa. It is located near to the Royal hospital, which is near to Arsenal, near St. Francis Convent. This is a chapel having two bell tower with rectangular arch, covered gable roof and windows. This was built by the Portuguese who ruled Goa at that time. St. Catherine’s Chapel is Asia’s second or third-largest Christian structure. It is the first chapel in Goa.
