Your interest and participation is much appreciated. The Bamboo Grove Cottage is situated near the forest department’s bus station to Thekkady from Kumali. This is one of the beautifully designed property which is close to the forest. The atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful. You can have a great holiday here. Bamboo Grove provides us an opportunity to enjoy the bird’s singing and the beauty of the forest’s small waterfall. There are 15 huts and can accommodate a total of 30 travelers, that means 2 persons in each hut and the charge for each hut is 2000rupees. There are Bamboo Grove package tourist programs. This package includes one orientation program, visit to a tribal colony, wildlife film show, birding, trekking, boat ride in Periyar lake, first day’s lunch and dinner, second day’s breakfast. There is a Bamboo Cottage package which includes staying in a bamboo cottage with double bedrooms and breakfast for two people.
