Rajapparamedu
Rajapparamedu is a land of legends. It is a village in Idukki district in Kerala, India. If you travel 2km through a cardamom forest in the Munnar-Thekkady route which filled with fog, you can reach the Rajapparamedu, a scenic viewpoint in Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. You can see the widespread Tamil Nadu from here. Below you can see the windmill farm which spread far beyond the sight and a colorful universe everywhere. It is believed that there was a temple here, and as proof of that there are collapsed stone walls and two stone statues on a raised floor. It is also believed that the king of Thandaman Kingdom of Tamil Nadu came here for hiding and staying, and the king hides his valuable properties by drilling a large rock and kept it there. There are drawings and painting on a huge rock. You can travel to Rajapparamedu through Kumali also. Rajapparamedu is situated near Udumban Chola on the Kumili Poopara route from Kumili via Ramakkalmedu, Nedumkandam, and Elappara. Rajapparamedu is a treat of scenic nature.
