Abby Falls

Abbey Falls is located in Kodagu,in the Western Ghats in Karnataka. The distance to Abbey Falls from Mysore is122km,from Mangalapuram is 144km and from Bangalore is 268km. The view of Kaveri river which flows from the greenish mountains of Western Ghats turns into a waterfalls is beautiful.The ideal time to visit the falls is from november to april as it overflows in monsoon and the fast flowing water in winter gives us the real beauty . Abbey Falls is located in between coffee plantations, stocky coffee bushes and spice estates having pepper vine surrounded trees. As it is really close to Madikeri ,tourists can either visit falls by foot ,two-wheeler or by autorikshaw. The entry ticket costs 20 rupees.The visiting time is from 9am to 5pm.
