Howrah Bridge is an Indian Wonder. Howrah Bridge is a steel bridge that connects Kolkata and Howrah cities, built across the Hoogly River, in Kolkata in India. It was named as Rabindra Sethu in honor of the famous Bengali poet Rabindra Nath Tagore. The bridge, which is 70ft wide with 8 lanes, is 829m long. The bridge is managed by the Kolkata Port Trust. This bridge was built without any pillars, nut, or bolt. This method of construction remains a wonder to the world.
