Kolkata is the third largest city in India. Kolkata was the capital of the Indian state of West Bengal. Kolkata is a city that refuses to change with the times. Kolkata is the same as it was half a century ago. Narrow lanes, slow-moving trams, man-drawn carts, and old-fashioned buses. This is Kolkata. Apart from the remains of the British period, there are no famous historical relics, old temples or other cultural relics here.
