Karanchi Lake is a beautiful lake located in the foothills of the Chamundi Hills in Mysore, India, close to the Mysore Zoo. There is a butterfly park on Lake Karanji to attract butterflies. There is also a children’s park and boating facilities. There is a high observation tower on top of which gives a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery. Lake Karanchi is owned by the Mysore Zoo Authority.
