Dasara exhibition is major attraction during Mysore Dasara. Mysore Dasara exhibition is held in Dasara exhibition grounds, opposite to the Mysore Palace. Maharaja of Mysore Chamaraja Wodeyar X started Dasara exhibition in 1880 with the aim of introducing timely developments to the people of Mysore. Various stalls which sell items like clothes, plastic items, kitchenware, cosmetics and eatables are set up and they attract a significant number of people. A play area containing attractions like a Ferris wheel is also present to provide entertainment to the people. There will be at least 45 different kinds of amusement items and games, specially designed for children. Entry fee to the exhibition will be Rs. 50 per person.
