Malampuzha Dam and Malampuzha Udyanam, built in 1955, are the major attractions of Malampuzha, a tourist destination in the Palakkad district of Kerala. The garden is a refreshing sight. Ropeway, Snake Park, Rock Garden, Fish Garden, Children’s Toy Train, Children’s Park and Fountains add to the beauty of the park. There is a suspension bridge in the middle of the river for tourists to walk on. In the garden there is a statue of Yakshi made by the famous sculptor Kanai Kunhiraman. The views of the river, the dam and the garden are beautiful.
