Mundur is a Village in Palakkad Taluk in Palakkad District of Kerala State, India. It belongs to Central Kerala Division . It is located 10 KM towards west from District head quarters Palakkad. Palakkeezh Bhagavathy Temple is Shakti temple located at Mundoor. A calm and cool place The Palakkeezh Bhagavathy temple is of wonderful ambience. The area is surrounded by paddy fields and small Hillocks. There is a giant Banyan tree infront of this temple. People gather here in evenings and spend their time with friends.The constant cool breeze and shelter under this tree is a blessing for people here as well as the travelers in this route.
