Yercaud
Yercaud is a hill station situated in Salem District of Tamil Nadu in India. Most of the hotels in Yercaud are based near the lake. Trees like Silver oak, Sandalwood, teak, etc. are found in great numbers in the forests of the hill station. Several wild animals like foxes, snakes, squirrels, deer and loads more are also seen here. At a distance of 12 km from Yercaud lies the Karadiyur View Point. Yercaud was discovered in the 19th century by British immigrants.
