Sri Ramachandra Math Vaka Mahanandigoshala is located in Hossanagar, 65 km from Shimoga. Vechoor, Bhangi, Sindhi, Killari, Krishnamali and Sahival cows, which are endangered in India, are reared and kept in this mahanandigoshala. This is a very large and beautiful cowshed. The cows here are very clean and tidy. There are more than thirty breeds of cows here. From Vechoor cows in Kerala to important breeds of cows from various states can also be seen here. A beautiful cowshed around the monastery in a beautiful village. The staff of the ashram will tell us about the cows and their characteristics.
