The Petronas Twin Towers are the tallest twin towers in the world, located in the KLCC in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. with each tower having a height of 451.9 metres. This magnificently tall twin tower was designed by Cesar Pelli, who is known as one of the leading cultural and architectural icons in Asia. What adds to the glamour of the twin towers is the scalloped pattern that adorns the outer surface. Pelli’s idea of the scalloped patterns indeed amplified the delicate appearance and elegance of the twin towers. The architecture of the Petronas Twin Towers received a lot of attention and praise for the same. The world’s highest two-storey bridge, the Skybridge at Petronas Twin Towers connects the 41st and 42nd floors of the towers, structured at a height of 170-metres above the ground. The Skybridge acts as a podium where you can change elevators to go to the higher levels; however, it is also said to be a safe evacuation route during emergencies.
