The Niramangalam Bridge is one of the oldest bridges in kerala. The bridge connects the districts of Ernakulam and Idukki and was built across the Periyar River. The Neriyamangalam Bridge is the first arch bridge in South India. The bridge is named after Sethu Lakshmi Bai.
