Nataraja Temple

Chidambaram is a treasure trove of sights reminiscent of Dravidian culture. Chidambaram was the capital of the Chola dynasty. The Nataraja Temple here was built in the 10th century. The present temple was built in the 10th century when Chidambaram was the capital of the Chola dynasty, making it one of the oldest surviving active temple complexes in South India. Located in the Cuddalore district, this town is also famous for the Nataraja Temple.
