Located in Vagamon, a popular pilgrimage center in the Idukki district of Kerala, India, Thangal Hills is a major pilgrimage center for the Muslims. Thangal Hill, Murugan Hill and Kurisumala are three pilgrimage centers in Wagamon. Situated amidst the picturesque scenery at the top of the hill, Thangal Hill is a favorite spot for visitors. The tomb of Sheikh Fariduddin is located on the rocky top of the hill. Thousands of Muslim pilgrims visit the hill during the Urs festival.
