The Ekambareshwara Temple is located at a distance of 2 km from the Kanchipuram bus stand.The temple is one of the oldest temples in India dating back to 600 AD. Ekambareshwara Temple Tower is one of the tallest temple towers in India. The temple land is spread over an area of 23 acres. The temple tower is 172 feet high and has a good area. The 540-pillared mandapam of the temple is also a masterpiece of architecture. The will open at 6 a.m. and close at 12.30 p.m. It opens at 4pm and closes at 8.30pm.
