Thenmala, a small town in the district of Kollam in India, is a famous hill station. India’s first planned eco-tourism project began in Thenmala. Thenmala is the Chenduruni Wildlife Sanctuary in Kulathupuzha Reserve Forest. It is home to the Kallada Project and Chenduruni Wildlife Sanctuary, the largest irrigation project in Kerala. The distance from Thiruvananthapuram to Nedumangad, Palode, Thenmala is 72 km. 220 km from Kochi. The distance is 64 km from Kollam and 37 km from Thenkashi in Tamil Nadu to Thenmala.
