Parambikulam Tiger Reserve is one of the most protected areas in the Western Ghats. Parambikulam is situated in Palakkad district of Kerala, India. Parambikulam is a perfect place for trekking and safari, with hills, river, flora and fauna. Parambikulam is home to 81 species of orchids, reserve forests, medicinal plants and about 50 endangered plants. Elephants, tigers, spotted deer, barking deer, Nilgiri langur, bear, panther, wild dog and many more. Parambikulam is called nature’s own abode due to the abundance of wildlife and flora.
