Jog Water Falls is the second highest waterfall in India. It is located on the border of Shimoga and Uttara Kannada districts of Karnataka. Located in the Sagara Taluk, this waterfall is also known as Gersoppa Waterfall or Jogada Gundi. Jog Water Falls attracts a large number of tourists. The best time to visit Jog Water Falls is during the months of November and February. There are many water sports including river rafting, boating and kayaking. Jog falls are located 30 km from Sagara, 104 km from Shimoga and 379 km from Bangalore.
