The famous Mookambika Temple of Kollur is located in the valley of Kodachadri. The Adi Mookambika Temple at Kodachadri village is the cornerstone of Goddess Sri Mookambika. Sri Bhadrakali Temple is located on the Kodachadri Hills. Mookambika Devi Temple is located at Kollur, around 80 km from Udupi and 135 km from Mangalore. The annual chariot festival at the Mookambika Temple is a ten-day festival held in March and April. During these ten days, devotees take Sri Mookambika Devi in ​​a chariot around the town and worship him with devotion. On the eighth day, the great chariot festival is held. Devotees take the goddess in the Brahma chariot and perform various pujas in the evening. The temple is open from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
