Pattaya Floating Market is one of the popular attractions in Pattaya. It is the largest manmade floating market in the world. The whole market is made of wood and covers an area of 100,000 sq m. The market displays the architectural and cultural skills of the people of the country. Everything is available in here, like wooden toys made in the traditional style, Thai food, fruits, vegetables, and a lot more. There are cafes, souvenir shops, art galleries, and the like. The Floating Market is always crowded with Thai food sellers in little boats in the river, different art performances taking place on stages built on boats, boats moving around with tourists, etc. Cultural shows are held every day. Travelling one-and-a-half hours from Bangkok, the largest and the “official” floating market, Damnoen Saduak can be reached. Pattaya Floating Market lies to the south of Sukhumvit Highway and 5.3 km south of Pattaya Road Junction. Several shows are conducted in the floating market. The timings of some of the shows are as follows:
Drum floating parade: 10.00 – 11.00
Thai music: 11.30 – 12.00
Boxing: 13.15 – 13.45
Ancient Thai boxing: 14.00 – 14.30
Thai music band floating parade: 14.30 to 15.30.

The market is open from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm every day.
