Aberdeen Jetty is a part of the Marina Park and Aquarium which is near the Water Sports Complex in Port Blair, the capital city of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. I happened to visit Aberdeen Jetty during our trip to the North Bay Island. Launches and boats are available from the jetty to Ross and North Bay Islands. This pier is fully functional. The boat ticket contains details such as the name of the boat, the departure time, etc. Towards the time of departure, the names of the passengers will be called out through mic which helps in reducing the crowd in the jetty. It takes around 15 to 20 minutes to reach the North Bay and Ross Islands. There is an admirable statue that depicts former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi throwing a garland into the sea.
