By Loms View Point is a beautiful view point located on the Valparai-Pollachi road in Tamil Nadu. This view point is located at the ninth hairpin bend on this route. The viewpoint is named after Matthew Loam, who marked the roadway in 1886. Beautiful view of the Aliyar Dam, its reservoir and the Anamalai Mountains in the Western Ghats at sunset. Beautiful view of Pollachi town. The view point of Lom is an important place not to be missed when going to Valparai.
