It is 50 km from Dharmapuri. Located in The Dharampuri District, in the southern state of Tamil nadu, Mullankolli is a small village by the banks of River Kaveri. Hogenakkal is a waterfall in South India on the Kaveri river in the Dharmapuri district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Though it is a forest village, the wild beauty of the forest and the wild stream that bursts with laughter soothes our eyes and mind. Satyamagalam is a forest on both sides of the Cauvery River. Forests ruled by Veerappan one day. One side of the river is shared by Karnataka and the other by Tamil Nadu. Carbonatite rocks in this site are considered to be the oldest of its kind in South Asia and one of the oldest in the world. The best time to visit the place is from July to August. Hogenakkal is located about 750 feet above sea level amidst the Melagiri Hills.
