Indian Museum

The Indian Museum is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Kolkata, India. The Indian Museum is located at Jawaharlal Nehru Road 27 in Park Street, Kolkata. This museum was established in the year 1814. Mughal paintings, art albums, rare items from Tibet, Mughal and Burma, mummies, many antiques and antique jewelery. The museum houses a library of thousands of rare books and many other objects. It consists of six galleries, namely, Archeology, Art, Anthropology, Geological, Zoological and Botany.
