Ottakkal Look Out

Ottakkal Look Out is one of the scenic tourist destinations in the Kollam district of Kerala. There is dam also a look out tower. Climb to the top of the look out tower, you can see the whole place and a nice view of flowing water from the dam. Thenmala lookout point is one of the major stopping points on the way to Thenmala dam and other attractions.This place is named Ottakkal and is one of the major point of Kallada Irrigation Project (KIP). The canal is part of the Kallada Irrigation Project and is the largest irrigation canal network in Kerala, India.
