By Cheppara is a rocky mountain with an amazing view in the Thrissur district in Kerala. The route is Poomala-Cheppara. It is located at a distance of 20km on the Thrissur-Poomala route. It is not a tourist destination, but a lot of people visit here to enjoy the scenic beauty. Cheppara is a huge rock about a km wide. The view of the sunset from this rock is so beautiful. The vast area of this rocky mountain is the main attraction. There are two caves in this rock and are separated by a middle portion. It is believed to be built in ancient times. It is also considered to be a place of ancient sages. One specialty of this Cheppara is that you can ride motorbikes to the top of this rock. There are metal rode fixed to the rock which helps us to balance while climbing up. There is an amazing view and heavy wing on top of the rock. It is a perfect place to spend the evening with family.
