By Malankara Dam is an irrigation project in Kerala, located at a distance of 6 km from Thodupuzha in Idukki district. The Malankara Reservoir is an 11 km long artificial lake as part of the Muvattupuzha Irrigation Project. Visitors will be allowed to walk over the top of the dam with the permission of the Irrigation Department. It is the perfect place to spend a day in nature. It is an ideal place for passive boat trips and fishing.
