By The Main Central Road, better known as MC Road is the arterial State Highway in the Travancore region of Kerala state, India. It is designated as SH 1 by the Kerala Public Works Department. The highway was built by Raja Kesavadas, Dewan of Travancore. The MC Road passes through Kilimanoor, Kottarakkara, Adoor, Pandalam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam, Ettumanoor, Muvattupuzha and Perumbavoor. One can see beautiful nature scenes and greenery while travelling through MC road which covers most midland areas of Kerala.Kuravilangad is an Indian town located in the northern part of the Kottayam district in Kerala. 172 KM from State capital Thiruvananthapuram. It is situated in the Meenachil taluk. Monippally is located in between Kuravilangad and Koothattukulam on the M C Road. Koothattukulam is a town and Municipality situated in Muvattupuzha Taluk, towards the south east corner of Ernakulam district in Kerala. It lies at the junction of three districts: Ernakulam, Kottayam and Idukki. Muvattupuzha is a town and municipality in Ernakulam District in Kerala in India. It is famous as the meeting point of three rivers;hence the name Muvattupuzha in Malayalam.
