By Anayirankal Dam is located at a distance of about 7 km from Chinnakanal. The Anayirankal Dam is the largest Earth Dam in the country. Anaiirankal Dam, located at a distance of 22 km from Munnar, is a beautiful reservoir located on the green carpet hills of tea plantations. Travelers can take a boat to the island in the middle of the water. Boating time is about half an hour. There is also a family boat which can accommodate up to 20 people. It costs about 2000 rupees to travel for half an hour. Speedboat facility is available for those who are not interested in normal boat travel. The ferry can accommodate up to five people at the same time and charges Rs 1,110 for 15 minutes of travel. Apart from this, a boat and pedal boat are also available.
