Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary is located near Marayoor in Devikulam Taluk, Idukki District, Kerala. There are many trekking routes in Chinnar, one hour long river trekking, towel trekking, wildlife trekking, and night camping. Chinnar is home to the endangered Chambal Malayananan. Chinnar is also home to the most expensive star turtle. The residents of the Mutuwan tribe live in the Champakkara Tribal Colony.
