By Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary is located near Marayoor in Devikulam Taluk, Idukki District, Kerala. Chinnar is the only rainforest in Kerala where the rainfall is low and so the whole of Chinnar is gray. Chinnar is a delight for adventure seekers, travelers and travelers alike. Most of the tropical jungles can be spotted so wildlife can be seen unhindered. The main source of water for Chinnar is Pampayar, one of the three rivers flowing east.
