By The nearest hill station is Nelliyampathi, 60 km from Palakkad, Kerala. The Nelliampathi Route, which has about 10 herpes curves, is a beautiful forest in the highlands. Nelliampathy is a repository of ecosystems. Tea and coffee are the main crops grown here. Nelliampathi is the only tourist attraction in Kerala with an orange garden. There are two tea estates in Nelliampathi, Manalur and Chandramala estates.
