By The Nilgiri Mountain Railway is the only daily mountain railway in South India. The train runs from Mettupalayam to Ooty via Coonoor. The total length of the track is 46 km and the train travels through the beautiful Nilgiris. According to the Nilgiris train, the train will leave Ooty at 07:10 hrs and reach Ytti within 12:00 hrs. The return journey from Ooty will start at 14:00 hrs and reach Mettupalayam at around 17:35 hrs. Please confirm this before you leave.
