By Alleemala is a beautiful place which offers a breathtaking view of the sea and the sea breeze. Alijimalai is about 20 km from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. There is a famous Shiva temple here. There is a cave and a fountain called the Pandava Tirtha which are legends including the fact that the Pandavas lived here during the unknown period. Another attraction is the cactus plants, which are filled with rocks along the shore. Adjacent to the Avimala Temple, the Avimala beach is famous for its Ayurvedic resorts and home stays.
