Beemapally Masjid

Bimapalli is a mosque located on the of Thiruvananthapuram just 8 km from Kerala. The mosque is modeled on Islamic architecture. The tombs of Bima Beevi and her son Sheikh Syed Shaheed Mahin Abu Bakr, who belonged to the line of the last Prophet, are in Bimapalli. Bimapalli in Thiruvananthapuram is one of the oldest and most famous Muslim places of worship in Kerala. Urus is celebrated every year in the memory of saints. Here is a wonderful reservoir of water called the Medicinal Well, which is believed to have divine medicinal properties that can cure any ailment. Flowers, silk and oil are offered here in a pleasing ancient pilgrimage center where thousands of devotees seek their blessings.
