Vizhinjam is a region located in the city of Thiruvanathapuram, the capital of the state of Kerala in India. It is located 16km south west from the city centre and 17km south of Trivandrum International Airport along NH66. Vizhinjam village should never be missed if you ever drop in to Kovalam. It is situated at a distance of nearly 3 km from Kovalam. Vizhinjam today is a busy port flooded. The village which is rustic and earthy is very much different from Kovalam in diverse aspects.
