By Uthralikkavu temple is some two kilometres north of Wadackanchery on the Kodungallore-Shoranur state highway. The Uthralikkavu pooram is one of the most popular temple celebrations among those of central Kerala. The annual Pooram festival is conducted by three teams from the Desams of Wadakanchery, Engakkadu and Kumaranaloor.The temple and the village raises to media attraction and news fame.
