By Amaravathi Dam is located in the Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary of the Tirupur district of Tamil Nadu. Amaravathi Dam is located 25 km from Udumalpet in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore district. It is famous for its crocodile farm and reservoir fishing grounds. The distance from Coimbatore to Pollachi and Udumalpet is about 96 km. The park and crocodile farm are open every day from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
