The Polonnaruwa is one of the most ancient countries in Sri Lanka. The kingdom was built by Vijayabahu, a Chola king. It is also known as the second oldest capital of Sri Lanka. For those who are interested in historical and cultural knowledge, Heaven is Heaven. The Royal Palace is a magnificent sight. It is a palace with 1000 chambers. All creations are made of some kind of red sandstone that is unique in Janathamangalam. There are only a few Buddha statues and ponds that do not perish today.
