Aruvikuzhy Waterfalls is a waterfall in Kottayam district in the Kerala state of India. It is situated 2 km from Pallickathode and 7.5 km from Pampady. The waterfall measures about 30 ft in height and active only during monsoon. In summer the river almost dries up. Its in Pallickathod near St. Mary’s Church.A small water fall about a height of 100ft. Don’t expect much. Its a small beautiful waterfall where you can spend about 1 to 2 hours with family or friends. Its not so developed as a tourist place also there are no eateries. An active and beautiful waterfall during monsoon. Very close to bus stop and easy to access. The pavilions and toilet complexes are under construction. KTDC is planning to convert it as a tourism spot during monsoon season. Aruvikuzhi Waterfall was not famous. the waterfall was easily accessible from the road and with the development of tourism, a good number of domestic and foreign tourists come to visit the water fall. The waterfall is thick during monsoon and rainy days and rather thin in summer. I really enjoy visiting the waterfall because of the nostalgic feel but it is a picnic spot which is worth visiting.
