Ananthapadmanabha Swamy Temple is one of the must visit places in Kerala for visitors. The rulers of Travancore were known as the servants of Padmanabha Swamy, the ancestor of the Travancore dynasty. Unlike other temples in Kerala, there are tall towers. The towers are made in the Thanjavur style. The east tower has seven bases, seven gold domes and seven windows. The other towers are built in the typical Kerala style with two storeys. This is one of the largest murals in Kerala.
